The Company has more than 250,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Amritsar
and also has presence in Ludhiana, and Panipat, the major woolen
textiles
markets in India. At Kochar we provide employment to more than
800 direct/indirect people. Being an integrated manufacturing unit, Kochar uses
the best available technology in all the segments of the business, from shuttleless
looms to some of the most advanced machines in the Finishing department .We also
have a specialized section for the sampling needs of our clients.
The
Company's infrastructure in terms of machinery is a perfect example of a fusion
between mature experience of over 100 years of service and progressive technologies
in terms of machinery. This concept of continuous technical change and improvement,
coupled with an unrelenting desire to be the best at what it does, has pushed Kochar
to the forefront of leading edge technology in the textile industry.
Kochar
believes in its social responsibilities and no Child Labor is used in any of the
plants. The mechanical process in the production department makes use of the high-end
technology under strict supervision and quality control to maintain high standards
of precision and component interchangeability. All our plants are environment friendly
and comply to the laws of the land. All the production processes are completely
in compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standards of the Quality Management System.
